WEEDSPORT, NY_ It was another action packed Sunday night at Cayuga County Fair Speedway as Taylor Rental of Auburn and LaFleur Lumber presented Dave Farney's Jr. Flagger show and Family Autograph Night. This was one of the more popular events of the season for fans as drivers and cars lined the front stretch. Fans of all ages were encouraged to take to the track to meet and greet their favorite drivers during this rare up-close opportunity. Local DARE officers Paul Benton and John Nedza were on hand to throw t-shirts to an eagerly awaiting crowd. Fans that joined them at the official DARE car on display were awarded with other great prizes such as DARE stickers and coloring books.

As race fans enjoyed the side-by-side racing action they may have noticed a few extra flags waving commands to the drivers as it was Dave Farney's Jr. Flagger night. Under the watchful eye of Cayuga County Fair Speedway head starter Dave Farney a number of junior starters took to their custom built flag stand to flag on the action of the night. Cayuga County Fair Speedway General Manager Cory Reed welcomed flaggers from neighboring tracks to join CCFS to participate in this exciting event and to receive a limited edition junior flagger t-shirt.
