Although plans are still taking shape, the Management group wanted to let their fans and competitors know a few details of the up and coming season at Tri City.

Racing will be held on Friday nights in 2011 with "For Your Car Connection Super Late Models" as the headliner.  The "Shaw Industries/Weld Tech Fastrack Late Model Series" will be back along with the E-Mods, ProStocks and Thundercars.  Racing will start at 7:30 pm.

A banquet will be held sometime on January 29th to honor the 2010 champions.  That will be followed by the Mall Show at the Cranberry Mall on March 3 through March 6, 2011.

On April 16, 2011, the track will open for test and tune from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.  The VIP will be open for all media personnel and a news conference will be held at 5:00 pm.  The stands will be free to the public.

Opening night of racing will be on April 29 for all five divisions.

The first big weekend of racing titled, "DOUBLE DOWN WEEKEND" will be held on Memorial Day weekend.  The weekend will kick off on Friday night, May 27, with double points for all divisions.  Saturday will be filled with special go kart events; and Sunday, May 29, DOUBLE DOWN SUNDAY NIGHT, will be the best of the best.  It will be a 30-lap heart throbbing feature with first place taking home $3,000 and fifth place paying $1,000 and $250 to start.  You better come early.

It doesn't stop there..we said Double Down..right!  Next up will be the Kodiak/BRP/Atkinson Fire Safety Big Block Modifieds.  After 35 laps of over 17,000 horses pounding the earth, someone will take home $2,000.  Second place will get $1,500; and third will take $1,000 home.  Don't think they won't be shoving and rubbing.

Tri-City will end their points on August 26, 2011.

The Annual Labor Day Classic will be featuring the World of Outlaws Late Models on September 3 and 4, 2011.

The final event will be the CS Technologies Plus Applefest 100 on September 11th.

Tri-City Speedway is owned and operated by H&H Motorsports. They have promoted Friday night racing at the popular facility starting in 2009. The weekly shows consist of Super Late Models, FASTRAK Late Models, E Mods, Pro Stocks and Thunder cars race each week at the "Oil Regions FASTEST mile dirt oval. Tri-City is located seven miles north of Franklin, Pa., off State Route 417.
