FRANKLIN , PA .It has been a long winter and very wet spring, but the wait is almost over. H&H Motorsports Tri-City Speedway will soon be opening its gates for another exciting season of racing, and we want you to be part of our opening night extravaganza! Mark your calendars for April 29, when the thunder will roll and the lightning flashes all over the fast half mile as Tri-City will now be lighting up your Friday nights with 5 divisions of racing action!

This year's opening night will not be one to miss as the stars of the United Late Model Series (ULMS) will invade the half mile for a 25 lap feature paying a big $2,000 to win. In addition the winner will be a guarantee starter for the ULMS race on July 1. Some of the regional stars expected to be on hand that night are Dick Barton, Wally Fox, Gregg Oaks, Dennis Lunger, Derek Frank, and ULMS all time feature winner David Scott. Coming into this season Dick Barton, Chub Frank and Robbie Blair are tied for the most wins since 1996 at Tri-City with 5 each. Will someone be able to break out on top and assume the crown as the Late Model King of Tri-City? Or will somebody new break out? We will all find out this on opening night Friday April 29, 2011.

Joining the 4 Your Car Connection Super Late Models will be a full show of Friday Night Lightning with the Welding Technologies/Shaw Industries FASTRAK Late Models, M&D Paving E-Mods, TEMPSTAR Northwest Heating Open Pro Stocks and R.K. Virgile Thunder Cars. Who will win the 2011 track titles this year? Who will be the next racing star at Tri-City? In just a few months we learn the answers to these and many more questions.

Kids 10 and under are invited to join the Ultra Graph-X & PNC Bank Kid's Club. Membership is free, but the fun is priceless. Members participate in special events, play games, meet the drivers, get pace truck rides, act as honorary flagmen, and much, much more. The fun never stops!

Friday Night Lightning at Tri-City costs just $10 for adult general admission, $5 for student (6 - 10) admission, and $25 for pit admission. Kids 5 and under are always free. Join us on Friday, April 29, as we kick off the 2011 race season with breathtaking race action. Gates open at 5:30 and the green flag falls at 7:30.

Tri-City Speedway is owned and operated by H&H Motorsports, which has promoted racing at the popular facility since in 2009.
