Sunny Skies, Warm Weather to Greet Racers at Snydersville Raceway

Although a late storm halted Snydersville's racing action last Friday with 5 races left, the early evening action was hot and heavy in the Kart, Slingshot and Microstock divisions. This week the Monroe County oval will pick up where they left off with the remainder of the Brigg's Sr. Stock feature that was being run when the rains came. The remaining 4 features consisting of Senior Slingshots, Open Modified Karts, Brigg's Animal Heavy and Sr. Sportsman will not be run and double points will be awarded to all qualified cars off of their heat race performances.

It appears Mother Nature may be a bit kinder this week as we have a forecast of Sunny & Clear Skies, with temperatures in the Upper 70's. Great Weather always brings lots of competitors to Snydersville and this Friday should be no exception.

A full regular show will be run for all divisions and will feature a 25 lap main event for the popular Junior Slingshot Cars. Will last weeks winner Molly Chambers return looking for win #2 or will a new face emerge from the Jr. Division? A few invaders are expected to challenge the Snydersville regulars for the top prize.

The Raceway's surface has been lightning quick and in great condition. The fields are growing bigger each week and it appears Snydersville Raceway is the Friday “Place to Race” this year.

Gates open at 4PM. with the weekly driver's meeting at 6:45PM. The evening's first green flag will drop precisely at 7PM.

April 25 will be a banner night at Snydersville as it will be Rodota Trucking and Excavating Night at the Raceway. Located in Belvidere, NJ , Rodota is operated by Former Modified Driver and Snydersville competitor Bob Hummer.  Rodota also sponsors Hummers 4 car team consisting of Bob, his son Chris, Dan Miller and Harold Fisher. This special evening will feature the Kid Kart Division as their features have been extended to 25 laps.
