Linda’s Speedway Rained Out
Readies for annual National Open

Linda’s Speedway was stricken with rain again on October the Ninth. Officials waited out a quick moving storm hoping to complete the nights racing before the speedway was hit by a second shower. The second batch of rain did in the night competition. The rain out ends the ARDC Midget season which started at Linda’s Speedway in late April. It also washed out the last chance for 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprint teams to prepare for the National Open. The Lady Chargers lone event of 2015 was also canceled.

This coming week is the biggest event of the season at Linda’s Speedway. The annual National Open will be run over a three day span starting on October the 15th with ReAnimated Art Tattoo Studio qualifying night number one. Thursday night’s racing will feature the 270 Micro Sprints and practice for the Wingless 600 Micro Sprints. Friday October 16th the racing will continue as another full show is on tap for the 270 Micro Sprints. Friday will officially begin the first ever Wingless National Open for the 600 Micro Sprints with time trials and heat races presented by GW Transport Systems. Saturday October 17th will conclude the weeks racing with the 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprints competing in their final qualifying events and the night cap of the National Open events paying $3,000 to win.

Any questions can be directed to the speedway hotline at (717)865-5330 or at, Facebook, or Twitter.

REMINDER: The seasons banquet will be December 12th 2015 at the Holiday Inn in Grantville just minutes away from the Hollywood Casino. Tickets will be $35 and information can be collected at the speedway, on, and will be mailed out soon.
