HALF PRICE FIREWORKS NIGHT (again) Friday at Motordrome Speedway
Race fans will have a second chance to see the NASCAR Whelen All American Series
at Motordrome Speedway for half price, as the "First Friday" celebration for the
month for June was rained out, on June 4. After only a few heat races were completed,
unrelenting rains washed out the event, moving the post-race Fireworks display to
this Friday, June 11. The event will be run in conjunction with Whelen Night. Even
better, promoter Stan Lasky decided to extend the half price promotion allowing
fans one more chance this month to catch five division racing and fireworks for
just $6. (general admission) on June 11.
The NAPA Street Stock 35 lap special event, originally scheduled for June 11, will
be pushed back one week until June 18. June 18 will no longer be a "Twin 25's"
night for the Subway Super Late Models, but will have a single 50-lap feature, along
with the Street Stock special and heats and features for all other divisions.
