Modified Tour Announces WVMS Race Cancellation
Officials of West Virginia Motor Speedway and the BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour regret to announce that the races sceduled for Labor Day Weekend, September 2-3, 2011, have been cancelled due to the failure to complete reconfiguration of the race track. "We are greatly disappointed by this development, as last year's show was a tremendous success," said Modified Tour President Lou Long. "We are hopeful that the construction will be completed in due course and that we can regain our spot on the WVMS schedule for 2012."  The Modified Tour is presently exploring its options to replace the race dates.
