4th ANNUAL BULL RING CHALLENGE AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY IS FAST APPROACHING
Bully Hill Vineyards to present the two nights of race activity set for Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28, 2013

 

(Woodhull, NY)  The countdown is on to the final 2 nights of racing at the Woodhull Raceway as the Bully Hill Vineyards of Hammondsport, NY will present the 4th Annual Bull Ring Challenge.

 

Dubbed as New Yorkís Toughest Dirt Bull Ring track owner, Ted White and his staff are putting the finishing touches on what promises to be the biggest event of the season.

 

It all gets underway on Friday night, September 27 with a complete show including heats, consolation races and a 25 lap feature event for the S&W Awards and Photos 360 Late Models.  The Joe Willcox Performance Open Street Stocks will run a 35 lap feature for $500 to win.  The Signs Plus Open Mini Stocks and LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts Open Front Wheel Drive Classes will combine for their night of action.  Friday night will culminate with a $1,000 to win, 50 lap feature for the NAPA Crate Sportsman Division.

In addition any Big and Small Block Modifieds that are in attendance will be allowed ample hot lap time to shake down their mounts for Saturday nightís action.

 

A huge bone fire will allow campers, race fans, driverís and staff members the opportunity to co-mingle as Friday night comes to a close.

 

Gates for the September 27 event open at 4:00 with racing at 6:30pm.

 

Saturdayís events will get underway with gates opening at 3:30 and the first green flag of the night waving at 5:30 pm.  Activity will include a return of the BRP Can Am 360 Late Models racing 50 laps for a prize of $1,500 to win in the ISKY Cams Championship.  The Joe Willcox Performance Open Streets will race a 25 lap feature for $500 to win.  Mini and FWD Classes will join forces in a 20 lap, $200 to win affair and of course the Big Block/Small Block Shootout which will showcase many of the regions top pilots in a 50 lap, $3,000 to win classic. To wrap up the high powered night of action the NAPA Crate Sportsman will run their make-up Non-winners 15 lap event.

 

Free Pumpkins will go out to all the youngsters in attendance on Friday night with a Pumpkin Judging Contest on Saturday

 

Free overnight parking will be available all weekend and teams will be allowed to leave their rigs at the facility if they wish to do so.

 

Should weather become an issue Sunday, September 29 has been reserved as a make-up date.

 

There are several Motels within a 20 mile radius of Woodhull for those that wish to stay and there are numerous grocery stores, gas stations and eating establishments with a short drive of the race track
