Central Pa Speedway Announces First Event of 2009 Season New Admission for All Star Late Models

CLEARFIELD, PA - Track Management is proud to announce the Memorial Day weekend "Grizzly" will be an All Star Late Model sanctioned event. The 50 lap race will be held Saturday May 23rd with a payout of $7,000 to win and $400 to start. Admission for the event will be only $15 for adults.

"Our team talked all winter about how we could continue to improve our fans opinions of CPS. The first thing that we discussed was to have quality events at a low admission price. After talking with our great and very supportive sponsors, in addition to securing a few new ones, making some small internal changes and booking what will be some of the biggest events in the Northeastern United States, we have put together a stellar schedule of events, said Tim Bainey, track owner."

In fact, admission for the Grizzly will be only $15 for adults. Mr. Bainey added, "This was my goal as an owner. To be able to have national level racing that our local drivers could compete with and do it at prices our community can afford to come watch."

" really want to thank Kenny and Danny for getting things together for the upcoming season. I also want to thank Timmy for dropping everything anytime we need him to add his input or run the website. This season promises to be one of the most memorable and exciting ever in the history of CPS."

Guy Webb, president of the O'eilly All Star Series, stated that, "Central Pa Speedway was one of the first tracks we wanted to put on the schedule. The facility is great, the racing is fantastic and the fans are just incredible!"

The multi-state tour will feature some of the biggest names in dirt late models going door to door at some of the best Late Model tracks in the country. The series will include a large point fund for the top 10 drivers and owners, appearance fees for 5 to 10 chosen "All Stars" and a race format that will entertain and excite the fans.

The event will also feature the first race of the highly anticipated 2009 Street Stock Shootout. Details for this years Shootout will be released in the upcoming weeks.
