CLEARFIELD, PA – Central Pa Speedway Owner Tim Bainey has announced a Record Breaking $10,000 to Win Yankee Doodle as part of the 2009 Schedule. It was also announced, the highly touted O’Reilly All Star Late Model Series will return to the Big Bear for the 34th running of the Annual Yankee Doodle 50.

The excitement surrounding the famed event has been building and some of the country’s biggest names in racing are already being mentioned for who may win the 2009 event.

“We’re expecting quite a turnout this year for the Yankee Doodle. Last year there were several cars from out of state who I had personally talked with and they were planning on being there, but when the weather report said rain, rain, rain I guess the six hour haul was risky.  We’ve had some of the top guys in dirt racing at the speedway for this prestigious race before and with $10,000 to win, I’m sure there will be some more to add to that list,” was Director of Operations Dan Bainey’s outlook for the event.

Last years Yankee Doodle saw Keith Barbara take home the $7,000 payday, holding off charging efforts from Chubb Frank and Jared Miley. The Street Stock Shootout will also take to the track for their $1,000 to win $100 to start event.

CPS Owner Tim Bainey noted “We haven’t set the admission for the Yankee Doodle yet, but I’m hoping the $15 admission we’re starting the season with is a BIG HIT with the fans. I would like to keep it as low as we can for the Yankee Doodle, the fans have said this is what they want – and I’m going to give them a chance to prove it!”

“I’m putting out a challenge to the fans – you get the word out and pack CPS on May 23 for our $7,000 to Win All Star Late Model Show, and I’ll Promise to charge the lowest price you’ll pay anywhere in the country to see a $10,000 to Win Event on July 3rd!”
