TOP FUEL RACER ANTRON BROWN TO BE PART OF MOTORSPORTS 2009 RACE CAR AND TRADE SHOW

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ December 14, 2008 . . . Antron Brown made a big change this season. The veteran motorcycle racer climbed into the Matco Tools sponsored Top Fuel dragster, running well over 300 mph on a regular basis, and had a very successful effort.
The Chesterfield, NJ native will be part of the huge Motorsports 2009 Race Car & Trade Show set for the Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center January 16-17th.
Brown, 32 years old, won two Top Fuel events and finished the season in fifth spot in the final National Hot Rod Association POWERade point standings.
Even though there has been a change in team ownership with 3B Racing becoming the sole owner of the team there will be no changes for the 2009 season. Brown will return as driver and legendary crew chief Lee Beard will be back to keep the race car running to perfection.
The Indianapolis resident is making his second appearance at the Motorsports show but it is the first time he has visited since the show moved to Atlantic City.
Brown will be visiting with fans and signing autographs throughout the weekend. He joins other drag racing stars such as Angie McBride, Matt Smith and Kenny Koretsky at the show.
2008 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Johnny Benson will be appearing and anxious to talk about his new Truck ride for 2009. Joey Logano, replacing Tony Stewart in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Home Depot No. 20, will be appearing as will NASCAR Cup star Kevin Harvick.
In addition there will be a variety of local and regional auto racing stars appearing at the show during the two days. The show opens at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16th and continues through until 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 17th. Admission for adults is just $15 while children are admitted for $5. Advance tickets are priced at $12 and $5. Ticket and show information is available at www.aarn.com.
More than 250 race vehicles will be on display as part of the show which will fill close to 300,000 square feet of the Atlantic City Convention Center.
A major highlight of the show will be the Trenton International Speedway tribute that will run for both days of the show. Racing legends Wally Dallenbach Sr. and James Hylton will be part of the tribute. Dallenbach, who raced at Wall Township, NJ Speedway and then went on to race Indianapolis cars, was a New Jersey resident but now lives in Basalt, Colorado.  Hylton, 74 years old, is still active in the sport and will be trying to qualify for the Daytona 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race in February.
While the Motorsports 2009 show is taking place at the Convention Center the Gambler’s Classic Indoor Races will be happening each evening at the nearby Boardwalk Hall.
