For Immediate Release:

WRT SpeedWerx Adds to Roster and Official Venue/Series list

The largest group of regional Dirt Track Photographers in the nation, just got a little bigger.  With the addition of Winchester Speedway to the already impressive list of tracks and series that rely on WRT SpeedWerx to be the official Photographer, it became necessary to add to the team.

When analyzing the strengths and needs of the Winchester Speedway photo program, WRT SpeedWerx co-founder Jason Walls decided to bring in 2 photographers to handle the load of covering “The Action Track” from start to finish, and from all angles.  The choice of those two photographers was the easy part.  Clifford Dove has an extensive background as a track photographer, and has been the Winchester track photographer for the past 2 seasons.  Travis Trussell was the Winchester track photographer for 2 years prior to Cliff’s return, and knows exactly what it takes to capture the show from behind the lens.  The combination of these two talented shooters along with the resources of WRT SpeedWerx will give Winchester coverage like never before.

“The 2 photographer system should be a win-win for everyone,” explained Walls.  The competitors have the opportunity to purchase quality photos of the racing action from multiple angles and locations on the track… with just one affordable pricing structure, at one location on the web – wrtspeedwerx.com.  The track obviously benefits by having twice as many quality shots (from different points of view) being used to promote the close racing action that you can only find at Winchester Speedway.   The shooters even benefit by being afforded the freedom to try things that they might not normally try if they alone were responsible for complete coverage.  They will also have the opportunity to cover other venues on occasion with the confidence that their teammate has them covered at home.

With the addition of Cliff as a team member, WRT SpeedWerx also adds a new Series to the “Official” list.  Danny Wilson’s exciting Steel Block Bandits is now officially a WRT SpeedWerx covered series.  This will increase the coverage and the exposure for the Steel Block Bandits, and gives fans and competitors a convenient, easy to remember location to find Bandits photos – wrtspeedwerx.com.

A final off-season improvement for all WRT SpeedWerx team members will be the implementation of a new gallery/ordering program.  The old system was nice, but was a bit quirky, cumbersome to upload to, and limited the products that customers could order.  The new system will offer more than 100 products that will be fulfilled automatically by one of the premier photo labs in the United States – Mpix.  We really think that customers will be very happy with the switch to the new system for 2010.

WRT SpeedWerx would like to thank all of our team members – Jason Walls, Loren Carman, Jason McConnell, JR Lucas, Clifford Dove, and Travis Trussell for all of their hard work.

WRT SpeedWerx would like to thank the Hagerstown Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, Winchester Speedway, Three State Flyers, Steel Block Bandits, Appalachian Mountain DLM Speedweek, Keystone Cup Sprint Series, and PA Sprint Speedweeks for choosing WRT SpeedWerx to be your official photo providers.

Thank you!

Jason Walls
