FLEMINGTON SPEEDWAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS RACE DAY AT THE 4H FAIR

Flemington, NJ -- Flemington Speedway Historical Society (FSHS) has a large tent full of vintage race cars and memorabilia on display all week at the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair, which runs August 20-24, at South County Park, Route 179 in Lambertville.

Sunday, August 24, FSHS presents “Race Day at the Fair,” when many drivers and assorted Flemington Speedway personalities gather to celebrate the legacy of auto racing at the fabled Flemington Fairgrounds. Interview sessions begin at noon in the FSHS tent.

The 2013 edition of FSHS’s "Race Day at the Fair" was a remarkable success, thronged from start to finish. "Thank you" to all of the old friends of Flemington Speedway who came out to visit, it was your presence which made this a fun and memorable day.

FSHS is a public charity recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission of FSHS remains to preserve, protect, and document the history of the Flemington Fairgrounds and Speedway.

FSHS meets 7:00 PM the third Tuesday of each month at the Flemington Elks Lodge 1928, 165 Route 31, Flemington. You’re invited, all are welcome.
