Pat and Kathy Palladino to be Inducted into the URC Hall of Fame

When the Capitol Renegade United Racing Club visits the big 5/8-mile Bridgeport Speedway on November 3rd and 4th to wrap up their 2017 racing season which is also the 70th year for the United Racing Club. In addition to honoring the late Midge Miller, the Club will be inducting two of the most successful URC owner and mechanic duo of all time.

The United Racing Club will be welcoming Kathy and Pat Palladino into their Hall of Fame with a special ceremony during the weekend. Kathy was not only the first female URC Champion car owner but is a 6-time URC Champion car owner winning championships in 1999 with Sean Michael, 2000 with multiple drivers, 2005, 2006, 2007 with Curt Michael and finally in 2009 with JJ Grasso. No other owner has won more URC Championship than Kathy Palladino.

A driver cannot be successful without a top-notch mechanic, and Pat Palladino has not only wrenched for the best of them but was the lead mechanic for each of Kathy’s URC Championships.

The couple have been away from the URC for many years but their contributions continue and the United Racing Club is proud to welcome them into a very select company in November.

Pat and Kathy will join Garry Gollub who was also inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier this year when the United Racing Club visited the Delaware International Speedway.
