Canadian Swing Ends at Path Valley for Stillwaggon

Robbie Stillwaggon and the Quality Auto Body 89 team headed north of the boarder last weekend for the annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at the Ohsweken Speedway.

With Thursday night being a test night, Stillwaggon and team returned on Friday for night number one of racing.  With 51 teams signed into the pit area, Stillwaggon started on the pole for heat race 3 and brought home a runner up position.  With a duel feature format for the night, Stillwaggon started in the 14th position for feature 2.  Stillwaggon brought home a 13th place finish in the 15-lap feature event.

On Saturday night, Stillwaggon started in the 6th position for heat race 4 after time trialing 4th quick in his group.  Stillwaggon battled his way up to the 5th finishing position for the 10-lap heat race.  The 5th place finish sent Stillwaggon to the Consolation event 1.

In the Consi event 1, Stillwaggon started in the 2nd position and brought home the runner up position advancing to the 35-lap feature event paying $15,000 to win.  Stillwaggon started in the 22nd position and brought home a 20th place finish on the night.

Stillwaggon and team then loaded quickly and headed for Path Valley Speedway to meet up with the Capitol Renegade United Racing Club on Sunday night.  Stillwaggon started the 25-lap feature event in the 8th position and a hard-fought battle with Bryn Gohn ended in contact and Stillwaggon going airborne.  Stillwaggon was able to make repairs but could only recover to a 9th place finish.

Stillwaggon will now head south this weekend to compete with the USCS once again.  Stillwaggon will head to Carolina Speedway on Friday night before heading to Cherokee Speedway on Saturday night.
