LEGENDS & RACE CAR SHOW AT WARREN COUNTY FAIR   

The yearly much anticpated Warren County, NJ Farmers Fair will be presenting a Racing Legends & Race Car Show as a big part of its week long festivities. That event is slated to highlight the opening day agenda of the Fair on Sunday, July 27th starting at noon time.
Local racing greats already lined up for this first time show are recent DIRT Hall of Fame inductee Carl Van Horn, fellow Hall of Famer Bob Pickell, former NASCAR Winston Cup standout Tighe Scott, Harmony Speedway racing great Ray Neary among others.
Topping the list of restored race cars already set to be on hand is the ever famous "Polecat 39" driven by all-time favorite Al Tasnady, the modified stock car creation #93 that won Flemington and East Windsor speedway championships with Dick havens at the wheel, the car Tighe Scott nearly won the 1979 Daytona 500 with, Bob Pickell's always consistant running #300 along with the modified race car that former Olympian Ray, Bateman, Jr. had loads of succes with along with many other racecars on display. Awards will bve presented to the best race car displays.
All race car drivers, past and present, along with any type of race car are openly invited to be a part of this hopefully very successful first time venture. Those race drivers planning on attending or those wishing to display a race car are asked to contact Archie Myers at 908-454-4817 to obtain proper credentials for Fair admittence. The Racing Legends & Race Car Show will be held under cover in a pole barn at the fairgrounds and presented only on Sunday, July 27th as part of the seven day Fair.
The Wareen County, NJ Farmers Fair is located easily on Route 519, just off Route 22 around the Phillipsburg, NJ area and not far from the former Harmony Speedway.
