The 72nd Annual Warren County, NJ Farmers Fair opens up on Sunday and continues through Saturday, August 1st on Route 519 three miles north of Phillipsburg.

Headlining the opening day festivities will be a Dirt Track Race Cars, Drivers and Memorabilia Show organized and presented by the Harmony Speedway Historical Society that are set to get underway at noon.

Those who remember attending dirt track races in years gone by at Harmony, Nazareth, Reading and other former area race tracks will delight in meeting stock car drivers from around the 1960s golden era of dirt track racing in these parts. Along with these racing legends will be numerous current day racers in attendance Sunday.

In addition there will be many vintage race cars from those days on display along with loads of racing related memorabilia. Among that will be a big display from the noted Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society that will feature the restored race car of popular Freddy Adam. Further details on this show can be obtained by contacting its organizer, Archie Myers at 908-723-4458.
