Fourth Annual Dorney Park Speedway Reunion at America on WheelsMuseum is Sunday November 3

(ALLENTOWN, PA) The extremely popular Dorney Park Speedway Reunion at the America on WheelsMuseum in Allentown, Pa., is set for Sunday November 3 starting at 11:00 a.m.

The event which was the brainchild of videographer and historian Dale Snyder, owner of Snyder Video Productions, has grown in size and popularity since its beginning in 2010.

Mahoning Valley Speedway, under the direction of Floyd Santee, has rapidly become the success story of all racetracks in the Northeast, will be teaming up with America on Wheels to make this year’s edition the biggest ever.

The show will once again feature the induction of four drivers into the Dorney Park Speedway Hall of Fame and this year we will be adding a Mahoning Valley Speedway Hall of Fame.

When Dorney closed in 1986 many of the drivers and fans relocated to the Lehighton based Mahoning Valley Speedway which Ward Crozier resurrected from the weeds. Many of the present day Mahoning drivers and fans have deep roots in DorneyPark it is only fitting to establish the Mahoning Valley Hall of Fame at the America on WheelsMuseum.

An outdoor car show will start at 11:00 a.m. All cars and drivers of any type past or present are invited to put their cars on display. The cars do not have to be from Dorney and Mahoning. Mahoning Valley Speedway will have a major display as well as displays from various other local speedways. Racing historical groups will also be in attendance.

At 1:00 p.m. the event moves indoors for the induction of four drivers into the DorneyPark and Mahoning Valley Hall of Fame plus driver interviews and an autograph session will take place.

Noted newspaper journalist, announcer and public relations director Dino Oberto will be onboard with the promotion of this event.
