ARRA adds contributor and video links to site

A.R.R.A.  (Auto Racing Research Associates) members are happy to announce that another great contributor to their website has been added to the staff in the form of DIRT’s Gary Spaid.  Spaid has been with DIRT for many many years and has kept keen records of stats regarding the organization, as well as statistics for many other racing tracks, organizations and series.  “I had just finished up compiling a complete listing of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour winners and thought that it would only be right to get the complete records of the DIRT Modified Tour as well to round things out.” says Fred Voorhees of ARRA and the overseer of the groups extensive website.  “I went right to the person who I knew would be able to help me out…” Voorhees continued, “…Gary has helped me in the past with information and other things and I knew that if he couldn’t supply me with the information I wanted, no one could.  Gary is a stat hound like the rest of us and once we got on the phone together and began to chat…we discovered that Gary had much to offer our statistical website.”

An update on the site finds that Gary Spaid’s coming aboard has meant an immediate addition of pages on Brett Deyo’s Short Track Super Series, both North and South…. The Race of Champions Tours, both dirt and asphalt and the Valenti Modified Asphalt series.  Also, a much enhanced page on the DIRT organization has been upgraded.

“While Gary and I spoke on the phone over the recent holiday weekend, it was discovered that he had many more records to share and some of them have been in the crosshairs of the researchers here at ARRA.” Fred stated.  “I’m truly excited about what is still to come from Gary’s library of research material.  Our site has grown by leaps and bounds since we first put it up on the internet and we are justifiably proud of what it’s become!  We have even begun to add links to videos on many of the pages with more to come.”  Those interested in taking a look at the ARRA website can do so at the link :
