October 16th and 17th. The Four Cylinders will be in competition on both nights

to win, $200 for second, $100 for third and $40 to take the green. This is the
same purse that was paid at the recent Clash at the Can, which was won by Tim
Should a driver be able to sweep the weekend they
will pocket a $200 bonus, bringing their weekend haul up to $1,000. “The Front
Wheel Drive Four Cylinders always put on a great show and often don’t get the
recognition they deserve”, said Promoter Dan Harpell. “This is our way of
putting them in the limelight”, he added.
As was the case with the Clash at the Can, track
rules will apply. Rear wheel drive cars will not be allowed to compete. This
event is strictly for Front Wheel Drive Four Cylinders.
The King of the Can Weekend takes the green flag on
Friday, October 16th featuring a $5,000 to win, 60 lap feature for the Race of
Champions Modifieds as well as a $1,000 to win GRIT Sportsman feature for Crate
Sportsman and the big show for the Four Cylinders. Race time is 7:00 p.m.
The action will then resume on Saturday, October
17th featuring the CRSA Sprint Cars, Race of Champions Sportsman and Street
Stocks, IMCA Style Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots.
Race time on Saturday is 5:00 p.m.
