RACE OF CHAMPIONS STREET STOCK POINT LEADER SHANE WOLF, JR LOOKS TO SECURE TITLE ON HIS HOME TURF SATURDAY AT PENN CAN SPEEDWAY

Shane Wolf, Jr. has had a tremendous season in 2015 and can put the icing on the cake this Saturday at Penn Can Speedway in the Race of Champions Street Stock finale. The 2015 Penn Can Track Champion will look to add the Race of Champions title to his resume on Saturday in the King of the Can. Racing begins at 2:00 p.m.

Wolf is coming of an RoC win last Saturday at Five Mile Point that vaulted him into the point lead on the series. It was his 16th feature win of the 2015 racing season and his third in a row on the RoC Series. He can lock up the Race of Champions title this Saturday at this home track.

Of course there are a couple of drivers that would like to prevent that from happening. Gene Sharpsteen had led the points for a good portion of the series before Wolf went on his hot streak. Sharpsteen is just 27 points behind Wolf in the standings. Sitting in third and just two points behind Sharpsteen is past RoC Street Stock Champion Bob Buono. After a brief stint in a Crate Sportsman in 2014, Buono is back in the Street Stock and has a shot at knocking down his second RoC Championship.

The RoC Street Stocks will be joined by the RoC Sportsman, IMCA Style Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots by Tobias in the curtain closer for 2015 at Penn Can Speedway. Pit gates will open at 11:00 a.m. with the grandstand gates swinging open at noon. Hot laps will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the first heat will take the green flag at 2:00 p.m. Penn Can Speedway is located on Route 171 in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.
