ANOTHER $100 BONUS ADDED TO THIS SATURDAY’S IMCA STYLE MODIFIED FEATURE AT PENN CAN

The IMCA Style Modified race this Saturday at Penn Can Speedway keeps getting better and better. Will Ward of WDW Motorsports has posted a $100 bonus to the highest finishing IMCA Style Modified that tows his or her car to the track with an open trailer. The IMCA Style Modifieds join the RoC Sportsman, RoC Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots by Tobias in the King of the Can Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

The list of special bonuses continues to grow for this race. It was previously announced that Matt Roberts from M.R. Grafix has put up an extra $100 to first place, $100 to second place and $50 gift certificates to the third and fourth place finishers.

IMCA Style Modified drivers Mike and Tyler Stoddard from MT Head Racing added $50 to second and third places respectively. Now WDW Motorsports has added $100 to the highest finishing driver that tows their car with an open trailer. If that driver should win, the victory would be worth $700.

The race originally planned to pay $500 to win but with the $100 M.R. Grafix bonus it increases to $600. Should that driver tow to the track with an open trailer they would take home $700 thanks to the $100 contribution by WDW Motorsports. Second place will now pay $450, including the $100 bonus from M.R. Grafix and $50 bonus from MT Head Racing. If the highest finisher with an open trailer should finish second, it would be worth $550 thanks to WDW Motorsports.

The IMCA Style Modifieds will be making their only appearance of the season this Saturday at Penn Can Speedway. They will follow all IMCA Modified rules, including tires.

The Race of Champions Sportsman and Street Stocks will decide their overall RoC Championships this Saturday in what will be their final race of the season. The Factory Stocks and Four Cylinders features will each pay $400 to win, which is their biggest purses of the season. The Slingshots by Tobias will race for the National Series purse, based on a minimum of 16 cars.

Pit gates will open Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the grandstand opening up at noon. Hot laps will take place at 1:00 p.m. with the first heat taking the green flag at 2:00 p.m. Penn Can Speedway is located on Route 171 in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.
