ARDC Back in Action this Weekend; Greth Opens Eyes at Midget Week

June 8th, 2016

The Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic ARDC Midgets present by Auto Bahn Indoor Speedway are set the take on Williams Grove Speedway Friday evening June 10th and Susquehanna Speedway Sunday June 12th.

A bit of a throwback to the old days is on tap Friday evening when midgets take the stage with the champ cars at the historic half mile in Mechanicsburg PA.

The Last time ARDC was at Williams Grove Steve Buckwalter took the checkers in the Heffner Racing number 27. Stevie will be in the pits Friday as he will be doing double duty in the Silver Crown car and his own midget. The Heffner midget will also be in action as Indianapolis 500 driver and one of the hottest race car drivers in the country Bryan Clausen of Noblesville, Indiana takes the wheel looking for his first Williams Grove win.

Sunday takes the mighty midgets to Susquehanna speedway for their fourth visit of the season along with the USAC national sprints cars. The Bright brothers have dominated the York Haven oval with Brenden take the first two races and Alex taking the most recent event.

Ryan Greth of New Cumberland is ready to capitalize on what he learned at Indiana Midget week. The Hyper racing driver impressed a lot of people with heat race wins at Gas City and Kokomo speedways against drivers like Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu, Dave Darland and Tanner Thorson. After a rough start to the week Greth showed he can run with the big boys on some Indiana’s baddest bullrings making the shows in the final four races. He ended up with a 14th place at Gas City, 12th at Lincoln Park, 15th at Bloomington and 16th at Kokomo in the finale.
