Hagerstown, Md.  Hagerstown Speedway is one for two so far but looking forward to more accommodating weather and a full schedule of April events.

With four Saturday’s, there are four completely different programs on tap and begins April 6th for the first Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic late model sportsman point event on the schedule with Liberty Tire and Auto of Mercersburg, PA  providing a Hard Charger Award for each event. The Ernie D’s pure stocks already began their point program last evening with Kevin Boyer winning as they will also be in competition with a Bill Ecton and Son (Hagerstown) Hard Charger award. The first point event for the D & D Auto Recycling hobby stocks is also on the program and joined with the Kline’s Auto Body (Hagerstown) Lucky Seven award.

The first of two Small Car National Qualifiers, this one with home track rules, is set for April 13th. The program features the late model sportsman, pure stocks, hobby stocks and the first National Speed Supply/Padula Motorsports four cylinder event with a hard charger award sponsored by J & S Salvage of Hancock, Md.  Feature winners will be guaranteed starters in September’s 7th Annual Small Car events. 

After Jason Cover t won the opener in the Buchanan Auto Stores late models, they return for their second program of the season on Saturday the 20th when the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series arrives for the 32nd Annual Stanley Schetromph Classic with the winner claiming $10,000 for the 50-lap event. The program was lost to rain last season. The RUSH (crate) Dirt Late Model Series will be making their first of two appearances with $2,500 going to the winner in the 30-lap feature. 

Ending the month on the 27th will be the Steel Block Bandits in their first of two non-point appearances this season for the late model sportsman. The pure stocks and hobby stocks will also be in competition.
