HAGERSTOWN, MD. – With more than half of the scheduled race dates already in the record books, Hagerstown Speedway continues with another variety of race dates during July.

The month kicks off Wednesday night July 3rd with night five of the overall nine night Pennsylvania Sprint Speed Week. This is the overall 23rd Annual weekly event for the open wheeled PA Sprint Racing Series as they make their way south of the Mason Dixon line. Veteran Keith Kauffman is the defending winner. The EMMR (Eastern Museum of Motor Racing) will complement the program with a variety of restored vintage racers. The program gets underway at 7:30 p.m.   

Always an exciting program for the two wheeled enthusiasts, the AMA Pro Flat Track and Pro Harley Davidson Insurance Grand National Motorcycles arrive for the 32nd Annual Hub City Classic on Saturday July 6. Starting time is 6:00 p.m. This program will also be held during Hagerstown Bike Week, July 5-7.. Check the website www.hagerstownbikeweek.com for all activities. 

Saturday the 13th arrives with the second of the Hagerstown /Winchester Shootout events, the 6th Annual Red Nininger Memorial 35-lap late model feature which will be accompanied by a National Speed Supply/Dave Padula Motorsports four cylinders special.  Nininger’s Tire and Auto will be adding an extra $1,000 bonus to the driver with the highest point average for the four race series. The All American Outlaws return for their second season appearance.      Race time is 7:00 p.m.

Always a big hit with the fans, Monster Jam Monster Truck Racing takes over the speedway for three dates, Friday the 19th until Sunday the 21st. Both Friday and Saturday programs begin at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday’s is at 2:00 p.m.

July concludes with the 32nd Annual Conococheague 50-lap event and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The Lucas Oil series were at Hagerstown in April with Jimmy Owens taking the victory, but the defending winner of the Conococheague is Don O’Neal. The Ernie D’s pure stocks will also add to the night’s action with their two and three wide racing. Race time is 7:00 p.m.
