AS PREDICTED, RAIN MOVES IN TO FORCE HAGERSTOWN CANCELLATION

HAGERSTOWN, MD – Forecast for nearly a week, rain has already arrived and potentially to worsen throughout the day, causing Hagerstown Speedway /Dirt Capitol LLC to cancel racing for this evening.

Following two consecutive Saturday evenings of excellent weather for March, a five division program headlining the Late Model Sportsman Topless in the Hoosier Daddy which would have paid $1,000 to win was the loser and will not be rescheduled.

Dirt Capitol LLC returns next Saturday evening, April 5th, with a change to 6:30 p.m. starting time for Autograph Night featuring the Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, K.Lynn Management LLC Pure Stocks and Mason Dixon Auto Auction Hobby Stocks.

Dirt Capitol LLC, the team of Ernie Davis and Rick Jones, would like to thank everyone that has attended and supported the track the past two weekends along with the encouragement received thus far in taking over the co-promotion of Hagerstown Speedway.

Follow the speedway on Twitter and Facebook at Dirt Capitol LLC. The latest news, results, photos, schedule or rule changes can found be on the speedway’s website: www.hagerstownspeedway.com.  Also check the website for any changes in weather conditions that may delay or cancel the program or contact the speedway office at 301-582-0640.
