DIRT CAPITOL QUALIFYING COMPLETED FOR ERNIE DíS FALL BASH AT HAGERSTOWN

 

HAGERSTOWN, MD: Qualifying for the 1st Annual Ernie Dís Fall Bash was primarily completed Friday evening at Hagerstown Speedway/Dirt Capitol. Saturdayís program consists of a Late Model B-main needed to complete that field along with qualifications and features for the Four Cylinders and Rookie Cars with features for Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks and Hobby Stocks.

The Fall Bash events begin with Pit Gates opening at 3 p.m., Grandstands at 3 p.m. and Hot Laps at 5 p.m. 

Keith Jackson toured the track in 18.760 seconds followed by J.T. Spence in a time of 18.840 seconds which locked them onto the front row for the 40-Lap Late Model feature which will pay the winner $8,000.

First and second heat winners, Vic Coffey and Rick Eckert will start from the second row while Gene Knaub and Mason Zeigler, who won the third and fourth heats, will go from row three. 

The 20-Lap $1,200 to win Late Model Sportsman line up has heat winners Scott Palmer and Justin Weaver on the front row with Robbie Emory and Kyle Lee in row two.

Mike Corbin and Jamie Zentmyer were the Pure Stock heat winners and go from the front row in the 15-Lap $600 to win feature. Mike Franklin and Mike Raleigh will start in the second row.

The 15-Lap $400 to win Hobby Stock field has heat winners Chuck Bowie on the pole flanked by Gary Proctor with Shyann Bard and Gary Deason in the second row

Four Cylinders will be competing for $300 in a 12ĖLap feature and Rookie Cars for $200 in a 10-Lap feature.
