Fall Jamboree To Crown Speedway Entertainment Champions

The November 9th and 10th running of the Fall Jamboree at Path Valley Speedway will decide the 2013 national champions for all three Speedway Entertainment classes. Double points will be awarded for all three classes when the checkered falls on the 10th and none of the three classes has a driver that has clinched any of the point crowns.

The Junior Slingshot racers , which are from ages 8 to 14, currently have 8 drivers that mathematically have a chance at taking the Great 8 point title. Atop the standings right now is Middletown, NY racer Jared LaBagh, who has garnered three wins on the season. Trailing LaBagh by only 28 points is the teenager from Mertztown, PA, Dylan Hoch, who has wins this year at Shellhammers and the Action Track USA. The next four drivers, Ryan Quackenbush, Dakota Kohler, Damon Paul and Kassidy Kreitz are having their own private battle for the third spot, but with two great runs, could make a run at the championship.

In the All Star Slingshot Elite 11 National Championship, 2 time defending champion, Oley Pa's Brett Bieber aboard the Marlin Bieber wrenched #32 is looking to do something that no other Speedway Entertainment driver in any class has done, threepeat. Bieber has two national wins , those being at the Action Track USA and the Lebanon Valley 100 at Lindas Speedway. Looking to takeover the top spot is Mark Sensenig, who hails from Leesport, PA and took the Selinsgrove National checker. Making some huge strides and still within striking distance are the Shellhammers Spring Spectacular winner, Oley,Pa's, Louden Reimert and the MA Gold Region champion,  Alex Schoffstall, who pilots the Billy Schinkel prepared # 77 out of Llewellyn, PA. Jim Chisholm, the 2013 Button Buck and Great Lakes Region champion is making the 19 hour haul from Osage, IA to challenge for the point title. Not to be left out is the 2009 Slingshot National champion, Cody Kline. Cody, who hails from Bangor, Pa has run 2 cars this season with his # 59 and the Bill Weaver owned # 1C taking a feature win at the Super Dirt Week National held at Paradise Speedway in Geneva, NY. Still within grasp of the top spot are John Bockhorn, Danny Buccafusca, Kurt Bettler and Chris Kurtz.

2012 SpeedSTR National champion, Quebec, Canada's, Maxime Plante is making the 10 hour ride south as the current point leader aboard the family owned Plante Construction # 79. Fellow Canadian, Yannick Mathieu and Salford, PA racer Freddie Rahmer can alter the final standings with two solid finishes. Mathieu, who won the final national event at RPM Speedway in Canada and Rahmer ,who bested Billy Pauch, Sr. at the Action Track USA national event will have to ward off fellow contenders Brittany Wixon, John Kovatch IV, Mathieu Daigle and modified standout, Jeff Strunk, who has taken a liking to the SpeedSTR's. Looking to spoil the outcome of these talented drivers are the 2013 Action Track USA point champion, Kenny Brightbill , Kyle Lick, who has a 2013 SpeedSTR regional win at Lindas Speedway, TQ standout Matt Janisch and Brandon Rahmer, who with some good luck, could be the weekend spoiler.

The wingless 600 micros have been offered two main events during the Fall Jamboree weekend and they are racing on the wide, high-banked 1/4 mile clay oval for $500 to win both days features. There is a chance that some drivers will be doing double duty, trying to take in the money offered by the Action Track USA presented racing program.

Helping with race sponsorship is MAS Trucking, based out of Schuylkill Haven, PA and Blue Knob Auto in Duncansville, PA. Both these businesses are also involved at the Action Track USA in Kutztown, Pa.

Speedway Entertainment president, Rich Tobias is offering all of this high speed, no-nonsense racing for the low general admission price of $11.00.

Racing begins on the 9th at noon and a 1 PM starting time is set for November 10th. Free camping is being offered for all race fans and race teams.
